LiveWell, LearnWell Series

Continuing Education for Fitness Professionals

Do you wish you could attend that conference but can’t afford the time or money to go? Are you tired of traveling to earn your CECs/CEUs? Then take advantage of the LiveWell, LearnWell series hosted by Campus Recreation at the University of Illinois. This quality and affordable continuing education program was created to give fitness professionals a local opportunity to expand their professional knowledge and earn ACE CECs/CEUs while doing so!

Keys for Boosting Sports Performance and Optimizing Health for Clients

Presented by sports dietitians Susan Kundrat (MS, RD, CSSD) and Michelle Rockwell (MS, RD, CSSD)

Personal trainers, registered dietitians, exercise professionals, athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and students in the fields of nutrition, fitness, and health!

Campus Recreation is co-sponsoring this comprehensive Sports Nutrition Training. This 4-hour training covers all the keys of sports nutrition based on solid science and practical, hands-on experience. Register by October 24 to receive the earlybird pricing. Fee includes breakfast, snack breaks, comprehensive training manual, and 0.4 pre-approved credits through ACE. This workshop has also been approved for 3 CEUs for Athletic Trainers from NATA.

BIO: Susan Kundrat, MS, RD, CSSD, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She received her B.S. in Dietetics from Minnesota State-Mankato, completed a dietetic internship at Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital, and received her M.S. degree in Nutrition from Iowa State University. She is a licensed dietitian in the state of Illinois.

BIO: Michelle Rockwell, MS, RD, CSSD, is a Durham, NC-based Registered Dietitian specializing in sports dietetics and nutrition for active individuals. She is the sports nutrition consultant for North Carolina State University athletics and was the sports nutritionist with the University of Florida athletic department for 6 years prior. Michelle received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Human Nutrition, Foods, & Exercise department at Virginia Tech.
