Facility Management

The Facility Management Team consists of over 100 student staff working in various locations. If you are interested in promoting wellness and recreational fun for others then this is your opportunity and Campus Recreation is the place to be! No experience is needed to start; just the willingness to learn, positive attitude, professionalism, ability to help others, network and grow.

Student positions available include:

Facility Assistant (FA)

Responsibilities consist of supervising the fitness areas and general building areas, addressing needs and concerns of the patrons, and Maintaining, organizing and cleaning specific areas of the facility. They also must respond to any injuries that may occur.

Customer Service Assistant (CSA)

Requires experience as Campus Recreation Facility Assistant before applying for position.
Duties include maintaining knowledge of policies, operations and procedures. This consists of answering questions regarding the facility and ensuring all registration and membership forms are filled out correctly. They may also sell various items including memberships and will supervise FA staff. Overall, CSA’s main objection is to promote leadership and customer satisfaction between Campus Recreation and the public.

Facility Manger (FM)

Requires experience as Campus Recreation Customer Service Assistant before applying for position.
Responsibilities are overseeing facility operations and buildings when professional staff is not in. Duties include: providing a presence at each facility making sure staff is in attendance, enforcing policy and procedures in each facility. Overall, FM’s provide leadership to student employees during the night and weekend hours.
