Interested in an Adventure Clinic
- For all clinics, the fee includes needed equipment and gear, leadership, and instruction unless otherwise stated.
- All clinics meet at the activity location for the clinic, TBA by e-mail upon registration.

- All clinic participants must read and sign a Liability Release Form and an Emergency Information Sheet.
- Clinics may be cancelled if there are not enough people registered, inclement weather conditions prove perilous, and/or instructor/equipment complications ensue.
Interested in an Adventure Trip
Risk: Due to uncontrollable natural, human, and/or equipment factors inherent in outdoor activities and the fact that some of our trips are conducted in remote areas without immediate access to emergency services, risk to participants is a distinct possibility. Participants must make their own decision to participate in these activities. Participants assume full responsibility for risks, for the consequences of their actions, and for related costs which may occur.
- Day Trips: The fee covers transportation and activity equipment, any other costs (unless noted otherwise) must be paid by each individual trip participant.
- Weekend Trips: The fee includes transportation, camp fees, group gear, sleeping bag and pad, and experienced leadership.
- Extended Trips: The fee includes transportation, camp fees and permits, group gear, sleeping bag and pad, experienced leadership and food while in the backcountry.

- Meetings are scheduled for each trip (except day trips) to discuss clothing/equipment needs, safety, times and locations, and other considerations. All meetings are mandatory.
- Trips may be cancelled if there are not enough people registered, inclement weather conditions prove perilous, and/or instructor/equipment complications ensue.
Registration Policies for Adventure Clinics and Trips
- You can register for all trips and clinics online or in person at the ARC Adventure Center, 201 E. Peabody Drive, Champaign.
- Registration is open to students with a valid University ID, Campus Rec members, Alumni Association members and general public.
- Registration for all trips and clinics starts the first day of each semester for activities listed on the schedule.
- Register Early: An activity may be cancelled if there are insufficient signups at least two weeks prior to the activity date.
- All registrants must fill out, read and sign a Refund and Registration Form for each activity.
- The full fee (or stated deposit) for the trip/clinic must be paid upon registration.
- Registration is conducted on a first-come, first-served basis in conjunction with our Campus Rec members preference policy. No spots may be reserved without payment.
