Carle Foundation Hospital Sports Medicine physical therapy at the UI Wellness Center provides effective, cost conscious and convenient health education and physical rehabilitation to members of the campus community that will return them to a level of high-functioning in their chosen sport or recreational activity.

All students, faculty, and staff can utilize our services with a physician referral.
What services do you provide?
Carle Foundation Hospital Sports Medicine's UI Wellness Center office provides high quality physical therapy services to the entire campus community – faculty, staff and students. Full physical therapy services are available for people with sports, recreation or activity related injuries. All services are provided by a licensed physical therapist/ athletic trainer.
What is the cost of your services?
Costs vary depending on the exact services provided. The client's insurance covers much of the cost.
Do I need an appointment to see the dual credentialed Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer?
Yes, all services are by appointment only.

All clients must be referred by a physician.
How can I get a referral?
Referrals can be obtained from your primary care physician. Students can obtain a referral through the McKinley Health Center.
When is the physical therapy office open?
Physical therapy services at the UI Wellness Center are available by appointment Monday through Friday.
Where is the physical therapy office located?
The physical therapy office in the UI Wellness Center is located on the concourse level of the ARC (Activities and Recreation Center), 201 East Peabody Drive. Metered parking is available in Lot 24, which is located on the west side of the ARC building.
How do you collaborate with the UI Wellness Center?
The physical therapist/athletic trainer is housed in the UI Wellness Center.
The physical therapist/athletic works with the UI Wellness Center to develop educational materials, videos etc.
