Spiritual Wellness

This dimension involves seeking meaning and purpose in human existence. Development in this dimension includes developing a deep appreciation and acceptance for things that cannot be completely understood. It involves the tolerance of values and beliefs of others and participating in activities that are consistent with personal values.

Action Plan

Take "quiet time" to meditate, think or just breathe.

Tips and Resources

Beliefnet is the largest spiritual web site. Independent, and not affiliated with any spiritual organization or movement, the only agenda is to help you meet your spiritual needs. This site aims to help people like you find, and walk, a spiritual path that will bring comfort, hope, clarity, strength, and happiness.

Another great resource is the Spirituality and Health web site.

Nourish yourself through personal beliefs, morals, and/or religion. Develop a philosophy of life that you want to live by. Find purpose in life and meaning in the little things you do everyday.

Facilitate a connection with yourself and others.

Make a list of what you value most in life and keep it somewhere to reflect upon.

Meditate, pray, practice visualization, and/or maintain a yoga routine.
