Adult Rat Hockey

Begins August 23, 2013.

  • members: $6
  • non-members: $9

Drop-in. Must be 18 or older. Full equipment is required.

Stick and Puck Beginner Hockey

Begins in September 2013.

  • members: $6
  • non-members: $9
  • OR $15 parent and child ($10 members)

Families welcome. See monthly calendar for exceptions. This is non-contact, informal hockey. Helmet with full cage/shield and hockey skates are required (available for rent); full equipment is strongly recommended.

Intramural Hockey

Registration is at the Ice Arena from March 3-4 or until spots are full.

Games will start after spring break.

Payment is due at time of registration. We accept credit card, cash or check.

Fees: $200/team; $40/individual


Elite/Club: Mondays or Thursdays*
Intermediate/Advance: Sundays*
Beginner: Wednesday*
*all divisions may play on some other days in order to get the most games, play-offs, etc. scheduled.

- Full equipment is strongly recommended. Helmet with full cage/shield and hockey skates are required

- YOU CAN ONLY PLAY ON ONE TEAM. I-cards and rosters will be checked before every game.


- No Men's club players allowed in Beginner

- Only 2 club players allowed in Advance/Intermediate League

Minor Hawks

Minor Hawks is a learn-to-play hockey program sponsored by the Chicago Blackhawks. Offered through the CU Youth Hockey Association, this program is for children ages 5-8 years old who have minimal skating/hockey experience. Each session is 8-weeks with one practice per week. The fee is $75 and includes on-loan equipment to be used for the duration of the session. For more information on dates and registration, visit

Senior Rec Winter Hockey League

Registration will start January 8, 2014

$100/Illinois grad students and Campus Rec members

$125/non-members (must be at least 21 years old)
