Adult Rat Hockey

Friday afternoons

  • members: $6
  • non-members: $9
  • goalies - FREE

Drop-in. Must be 18 or older.

Limited to 28 skaters and 4 goalies.

Stick and Puck Beginner Hockey

  • members: $6
  • non-members: $9
  • OR $15 parent and child ($10 members)

Families welcome. See monthly calendar for exceptions. This is non-contact, informal hockey.

Intramural Hockey - Spring 2015

Registration begins Monday, March 9 and closes once all spots are full or March 18.

Team fee $200
Individual $40

Season begins after spring break (Wed., April 1).

Three Divisions:

  • Elite/Club Tuesdays+
  • Intermediate/Advance Sundays+
    (only 2 club players allowed per team)
  • Beginner/Intermediate* Wednesdays+
    (no men’s club or women’s A team players allowed)

This is non-check recreational hockey for UI Students and Campus Rec members at least 18 years old. Full equipment expected and highly recommended. A helmet with full face protection required.

Minor Hawks

Next session begins January 13, 2015.

Minor Hawks is a learn-to-play hockey program sponsored by the Chicago Blackhawks. Offered through the CU Youth Hockey Association, this program is for children ages 5-8 years old who have minimal skating/hockey experience. Each session is 8-weeks with one practice per week. The fee is $80 and includes on-loan equipment to be used for the duration of the session. For more information on dates and registration, visit


Senior Rec Hockey League

Registration will start January 5, 2015.

Games are planed on Sunday nights beginning January 25. Must be a graduate student, faculty/staff, or public at least 21 years old.

$100/Illinois grad students and Campus Rec members
