Membership Fees

You can purchase your membership at the ARC or CRCE Member Services during facility hours. Just bring your i-card or appropriate materials—see Policies and Procedures (pdf). You can pay with cash, check, credit card or use payroll deduction (see below).

Students

Students registered for 6 hours (3 hours in the summer) are typically assessed the Student Service Fee which supports Campus Recreation programs. These students are automatically Campus Rec members and may enter any Campus Rec facility with their i-card. Those with fewer hours or who are exempt from the Service Fee may request to have the fee assessed through Student Accounts (100 Henry Administration Bldg) in order to become Campus Rec members.

Notes

Students can sponsor spouse/partner or adult dependent semester-by-semester with memberships at the Faculty/Staff rate. Can sponsor one other individual semester-by-semester at the Associate rate.

Students are eligible to purchase memberships for during Summer sessions if not enrolled in classes.

Faculty, Staff, Retiree, Adult Dependent, Recent Grad, Allied Organization Employee Memberships, and OLLI Scholars

  • All Year 2009-2010: $348 (August 1, 2009-August 15, 2010)
    Add a spouse/partner or adult dependent for only $240.
  • Payroll Deduction Option: $29/month (effective August 1, 2009)
    (Requires a six-month minimum contract.)
    Add a spouse/partner or adult dependent for only $20/month.
  • Fall 2009: $182 (August 1, 2009-January 1, 2010)
  • Fall 2009 Mid-Semester: $118 (October 15, 2009-January 15, 2010)
  • Spring 2010: $182 (December 15, 2009-May 15, 2010)
  • Spring 2010 Mid-Semester: $118 (February 15-May 15, 2010)
  • Summer 2010-Session I: $118 (May 7-August 20, 2010)
  • Summer 2010-Session II: $78 (June 14-August 20, 2010)

Notes

Spouse/partners, or persons in this category, can purchase a Campus Rec membership at the above costs.

Graduates of the U of I may purchase a Campus Rec membership at the above costs for up to one year following graduation.

Members may sponsor five guests daily at a $10/guest fee and sponsor one person as an Associate member.

  • All Year 2009-2010 Limited Access: $199 (August 1, 2009-August 15, 2010)
  • Fall 2009 Limited Access: $91 (August 1, 2009-January 1, 2010)
  • Fall 2009 Mid-Semester Limited Access: $59 (October 15, 2009-January 15, 2010)
  • Spring 2010 Limited Access: $91 (December 15, 2009-May 15, 2010)
  • Spring 2010 Mid-Semester Limited Access: $59 (February 15-May 15, 2010)
  • Summer 2010-Session I Full Access: $88 (May 7-August 20, 2010)
  • Summer 2010-Session II Full Access: $59 (June 14-August 20, 2010)

Children’s Access Policy
Children’s Memberships are valid at the ARC and CRCE only during Children’s Hours. These are designated times for members and guests ages 17 and under to utilize ARC or CRCE. In the fall and spring semesters, those times are 4-8 pm on Fridays and 9 am-8 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. During break periods (this includes summer) Children's Memberships are honored at the ARC and CRCE during all facility hours. Children 3 and under are free only during Children’s Hours. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian who has purchased a Campus Recreation membership.

Access to ARC/CRCE Outside Children's Hours
Children ages 17 and under may use ARC or CRCE during regular facility hours only when they are with a sponsoring parent/legal guardian and have purchased a full price daily guest pass ($10).

Alumni and Associate Membership

Availability of passes is limited.

  • All Year 2009-2010: $499 (August 1, 2009-August 15, 2010)
  • Fall 2009: $254 (August 1, 2009-January 1, 2010)
  • Fall 2009 Mid-Semester: $159 (October 15, 2009-January 15, 2010)
  • Spring 2010: $254 (December 15, 2009-May 15, 2010)
  • Spring 2010 Mid-Semester: $159 (February 15-May 15, 2010)
  • Summer 2010-Session I: $159 (May 7-August 20, 2010)
  • Summer 2010-Session II: $106 (June 14-August 20, 2010)

Notes

Alumni/Associate members are not eligible to sponsor additional Campus Rec members.

The sponsor need not accompany the Associate member when the Associate uses the facilities, but the sponsor must be a Campus Rec member.

Payroll Deduction

Faculty and staff can pay for their continuous membership through payroll deduction. Download the appropriate form below, complete, and return to the ARC or CRCE Member Services or fax to (217) 265-9817.
