Who Is Eligible?

Campus Rec provides recreation and wellness opportunities to students and the university community.

* Student Service Fee

Students registered for 6 hours (3 hours in the summer) are typically assessed the student service fee which supports Campus Recreation programs. These students are automatically Campus Rec members and may enter any Campus Rec facility with their i-card. Those with fewer hours or who are exempt from the student service fee can purchase the service fee at the USFSCO Cashier Office (100 Henry Administration Bldg) in order to become Campus Rec members. Visit the Registrars Office for more information. During the summer, Campus Rec may sell student memberships to those not assessed the Service Fee.

During the first two weeks of the semester, Campus Rec will offer an Alternative ID Period because the i-cards may not reflect assessment of the Student Service Fee. At this time, students may present a billing statement, housing contract or letter from their department along with a photo ID to access any facility. The Alternative ID Period is the only time these documents will allow access. A valid i-card is needed at all other times.

Community (Non-Member) Opportunities

For the surrounding community, Campus Rec offers several opportunities to participate in programs such as swimming, ice skating, and adventure recreation, as well as accessing the facilities for birthday parties, group outings, etc. Please visit Community and Family Opportunities for more details.
